Telangana staff want statehood process expedited
The Telangana Employees' Association at a meeting on Sunday called upon people's representatives supporting Telangana State to come on a common platform and launch a struggle for achieving their goal. They should not succumb to pressure tactics of those advocating a united State.
The president C Vittal, and two other leaders of the association in a statement later while thanking AICC president Sonia Gandhi for giving green signal to the formation of Telangana called for steps to expedite the process.
The meeting pledged support to Telangana Rashtra Samithi president K Chandrasekhar Rao's future programmes for achieving a separate State and paid tributes to the agitators who died during the separate agitation.
