Congress MLAs call on Chandrasekhara Rao
Several leaders from the ruling Congress party called on the fasting TRS president K Chandrasekhara Rao at the NIMS on Wednesday and enquired about the condition of the health. They appealed to the TRS president to call off his fast as his life was precious to the people of Telangana. He was very much required to continue the movement of Telangana they opined, while speaking to media persons after visiting Chandrasekhara Rao.
The Congress leaders included MLAs Damodar Reddy and Rajaiah and MLCs Indrasena Reddy, Mohan Reddy, Yadav Reddy, Bhanu Prakash and KR Amos. The peace rally planned by students should be allowed ,felt Damodara Reddy. In the morning TDP leader Talasani Srinivas Yadav had bitter experience in NIMS when he went there to visit Chandrasekhara Rao.
The supporters of TRS raised slogans calling him traitor of Telangana and asked him to go back. They were insisting upon him to hail Telangana. He, however, managed to give them the slip by existing from the other side of the hospital after however looking up Chandrasekhara Rao.
