Hyderabad
Congress politician and Rajya Sabha member K Keshava Rao welcomed the statement of the Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy that a solution to the Telangana issue would arrive in three months.
Speaking to reporters in Hyderabad, Keshava Rao said that the only solution to the Telangana issue is the formation of a separate Telangana state. He requested the Chief Minister to announce the date by which a solution to the problem could be arrived. Keshava Rao also urged the Chief Minister to adopt a resolution in the Andhra Pradesh assembly for the Telangana issue as suggested by Union Home Minister P Chidambaram earlier.
Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy has earlier urged Telangana activists to observe restraint for another three months as the Congress central leadership could arrive with an appropriate decision by then.
