Telangana Political JAC to intensify protests

The Telangana Political JAC has decided to intensify the protests for the statehood of Telangana till the separate state is formed. The steering committee meeting of the Joint Action Committee was held in Hyderabad. Speaking to the media after the meeting, JAC convener Prof. M Kodandaram said that to make the generate strike a big success, the employees strike would be held from the 13th of September instead of 6th as decided earlier. He said that the Telangana Rashtra Samithi party would hold a public meeting on September 12th in Karimnagar.
Kodandaram has called on students to boycott classes on September 6th and to also stage a mock funeral of effigies of ministers who have not tendered their resignation yet.

The Bharatiya Janata Party would hold a public meeting in Nalgonda and the New Democracy would hold a similar meeting in Khammam. The dates of the same would be announced by the respective parties.
