Telangana JAC students bandh on August 10
Hyderabad
The proposed Telangana Bandh called by the Students Joint Action Committee (JAC) with the support of the TRS is now scheduled for August 10, 2011 instead of the proposed date of August 5 which happens to be the first Friday of the holy Ramzan month.
The bandh was called for in protest of the decision of the Central Government in making the Clause 14(f) of the Presidential Order which makes Hyderabad a non-free zone for the purpose of services. The Students JAC is also considering a Chalo BHEL on August 13 and 14 and stop the Sub-inspector of Police written examinations in the BHEL township.
The proposed August 8 bandh was also dropped because of lack of proper preparation.
