TRS not a 'Cinema Party', says KCR

Telangana Rashtra Samithi President K Chandrasekhar Rao condemned the rumors that TRS is willing to merge their party with Congress. Calling the rumors as 'Joke of the year', KCR said that their party is not a 'Cinema party' to merge with Congress.

Speaking to the media in Hyderabad, Chandrasekhar Rao demanded the Government to address the problems of the weavers immediately. He said that Rs. 600 crore should be allocated for this purpose in the upcoming budget. KCR also demanded that the Government should set up Gadwal and Pochampalli Silk Boards soon.

KCR also threatened the Government saying that they will block the Hyderabad-Vijayawada national highway in case the Government doesn't respond to the weavers problems by the 9th of this month. A bandh will be observed in the Telangana areas on the February 10th, he said.
