Supreme Court serves notices to 5 TRS leaders

Dealing with a writ petition filed by former MLA Adusumilli Jayaprakash, the Supreme Court on Monday has served notices to six TRS leaders and another five advocates. The leaders who are served the notices include TRS President K Chandrasekhar Rao, K Taraka Rama Rao, Vijayashanti, K Kavitha, Etela Rajender and Congress MP Madhu Goud Yaskhi. Another five advocates are also believed to have been served the notice.
The Court ordered to give explanation within fifteen days for their alleged provocational speeches and obstructing the staff from discharging their duties in an incident that took place on 13, 14 and 15th September 2010 in the premises of Andhra Pradesh High Court in Hyderabad. The court served the notices on the charge of contempt of Court.
