TDP MLA Pocharam Srinivas Reddy to join TRS

Senior leader and a MLA of the Telugu Desam Party, Pocharam Srinivas Reddy has shifted his loyalties to the Telangana Rashtra Samithi. He served as a minister in Chandrababu Naidu's cabinet earlier.

Speaking to the media, Srinivas Reddy expressed his frustration on the TDP saying that the party is not clear on its stand on separate statehood of Telangana. Srinivas Reddy is likely to meet TRS Chief K Chandrasekhar Rao tomorrow. It is learnt that two former MLAs of the TDP party will also join TRS.

Srinivas Reddy is meeting with his supporters at 12:30 pm at his Banswada constituency today. It is known that another senior leader Nagam Janardhan Reddy is also a strong supporter of a separate Telangana state. As per the sources, TDP Chief N Chandrababu Naidu has advised Srinivas Reddy not to take any hasty decision earlier.
