Jukkal MLA Hanumanth Shinde to continue with TDP

Amidst rumors that he might join TRS, Jukkal MLA Hanumanth Shinde met with TDP President N Chandrababu Naidu in the morning today. Speaking to the media after discussions with the TDP President, Shinde confirmed that he will continue to work with the Telugu Desam Party for a separate Telangana state. Hanumanth Shinde opined that Banswada MLA Pocharam Srinivas Reddy made a big mistake by leaving TDP to join the TRS party. Shinde also expressed confidence that none of the TDP MLAs will join TRS.

Choppadandi TDP MLA Suddala Devaiah also decided to continue with TDP. He met with his supporters today and later announced that he will continue with TDP.

This news came as a big relief to the Telugu Desam Party, especially after the shocking announcement of Pocharam Srinivas Reddy yesterday of his intentions to join Telangana Rashtra Samithi.
