Oscar Fernandes urges Telangana Congress leaders not to act in haste

With the Telangana Congress leaders making a public statement that they will tender their resignations, the Congress high command is making moves to pacify their party leaders. AICC General Secretary Oscar Fernandes met with several Congress leaders today in Hyderabad and urged them not to make a hasty move. He said that tendering resignations is not the solution to the Telangana issue.
Speaking to the media, Fernandes said that the Telangana issue is very sensitive and assured that the union government will take a decision at the appropriate time. PCC President Botcha Satyanarayana, Ministers Ponnala Lakshmaiah, Kanna Lakshminarayana, former Ministers Shabbir Ali, JC Diwakar Reddy, former Chief Minister Nedurumalli Janardhan Reddy, D Srinivas and other leaders met with Fernandes today at the Lake View guest house.
