Several buses cancelled due to Telangana bandh

Transportation was severely hit due to the Telangana bandh in Hyderabad and other telangana districts. The buses at the Jubilee bus station and MGBS bus station were stopped. 600 bus services in six bus depots in Adilabad district were also cancelled.
The TRS party workers and Telangana JAC activists who tried to force the bandh at bus depots were arrested by the police. They staged dharnas and protests in front of the bus depots. Telangana activists in Shadnagar staged a sit-in on the road to show their solidarity with the bandh. TRS and BJP party workers also sat on the roads in front of the bus depots in Nalgonda to stop the buses from leaving the depots.
The APSRTC is forced to cancel the following bus services due to the bandh:
- 600 bus services in six bus depots in Adilabad
- 550 bus services in seven bus depots in Medak
- 804 buses in 8 depots of Mahaboobnagar
- 705 buses in 7 depots in Nalgonda
- 865 buses in 11 depots in Karimnagar
- 640 bus services in Nizamabad
