Telugu Desam Party MLAs arrested for staging dharna at Gun Park

The Telugu Desam Party MLAs who tendered their resignation yesterday staged a dharna at Gun Park demanding the approval of their resignations. However, they are soon arrested by the police as they violated section 144 which was in force today and tomorrow.

Speaking to the media, DCP Akun Sabarwal said that they took the TDP MLAs who took part in the dharna into custody as they violated the section 144. He has warned of strict action against those who stage dharnas and protests today and tomorrow. The arrested MLAs were shifted to the Bollaram Police Station.
