Telangana bandh ends successfully

Telangana Rashtra Samithi President K Chandrasekhar Rao announced that the 48-hour Telangana bandh was a grand success.
The bandh which began yesterday was mostly peaceful, except for some incidents at the Osmania University campus. The police had to resort to the use of tear gas to disperse the students and the arrest of Telangana TDP and JAC leaders. Speaking to the media, KCR said that the bandh ended peacefully and was a grand success. He thanked the Telangana people for participating in the bandh voluntarily.
KCR has called on the Students in the Telangana regions to take up rallies tomorrow in all the Telangana regions.
