Jupally Krishna Rao calls on Telangana Congress Ministers and MPs to tender resignations

Former minister Jupally Krishna Rao criticized the Telangana Congress MPs and Ministers saying that they need to resign to their positions immediately to achieve the statehood of Telangana.

Speaking to media in Veepanagandla mandal of Mahabubnagar district, Jupally Krishna Rao questioned Sonia Gandhi on why she did is not considering the request s of Telangana congress leaders who are 56 in number. Instead she invited the Praja Rajyam President K Chiranjeevi and PRP MLAs to New Delhi for dinner. He suggested the Telangana Congress leaders to immediately tender their resignations while staying in Hyderabad. He also reminded the Andhra leaders have stopped the formation of Telangana state by not traveling to Delhi frequently, instead they tendered their resignations.

Jupally said that he stood by his word to the students of Osmania University by resigning to his ministerial berth since the Government has not budged to the Telangana movement even after the end of May. He called on the MPs and Ministers to get ready with their resignations if the Centre doesn't grant the Telangana state by the end of June. Commenting on Pada Yatra issue, he said that he is sure to hold such protests in the future for the sake of Telangana statehood.
