Statues on Tank Band damaged

The huge participation in the Telangana Million march took an unwarranted turn when few participants went rampage and damaged the statues on the Tank Bund. While few of the statues are partially damaged, most of them are completely destroyed.

Statues of Sri Krishnadevarayulu, Annamayya, Kshetrayya, Tripuraneni Ramaswamy, Nannayya, Yerra pragada, Ghurram Jasuha, Kandukuri Veresalingam Panthulu, Sri Sri were damaged. Reports say that few of the statues are thrown into the Hussainsagar waters.
