Pocharam Srinivas Reddy resigns as MLA
Hyderabad
Banswada MLA Pocharam Srinivas Reddy has officially resigned to his MLA seat. He requested the deputy speaker Nadendla Manohar Reddy to provide him with an opportunity to explain the reasons for his resignation in the assembly.
Earlier in the morning, Srinivas Reddy paid tributes at the Gun Park in Hyderabad. He alleged that the Telugu Desam Party which issued a pro-Telangana statement before the 2009 assembly elections changed its stand. Srinivas Reddy promised that he will stand by the people of Telangana and will strive for the formation of a separate Telangana state. He also demanded for the tabling of Telangana bill in the Parliament.
