- The TRS Legislative Party meeting is held today at TRS Bhavan under the leadership of its president K Chandrasekhar Rao. The leaders have discussed the strategy to be adopted in the winter sessions of the Assembly that begins tomorrow.
- Union Home Minister P Chidambaram has at last broke his silence on the Telangana issue. He said that the Government will call for an all-party meeting to discuss the formation of separate Telangana State in December. Speaking to reporters in New Delhi, Chidambaram said that there will be progress in the issue by the end of December. He also defended the encounter of Kishanji saying that it is not a fake encounter.
- TRS Floor Leader in the Assembly Etela Rajender said that the TDP has no moral right to question them about their resignations in the Assembly. Speaking to reporters in Hyderabad, Rajender said that if TDP moves a no-confidence motion against the Government, the TRS will offer full support to such a move.
