Telangana issue only after all party meeting : Purandeswari

Union Minister of State for Human Resource Development D Purandeswari said that the Centre would take a decision on Telangana issue only after all political parties announce their stand on the statehood of Telangana. She said that UPA Government is putting on their best efforts to solve the issue as soon as possible.

Speaking to reporters in Hyderabad, Purandeswari said that Union Health Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad has included the opinions of representatives from both Telangana and Andhra regions in the report that was submitted to AICC president Sonia Gandhi yesterday. She said that the submission of report has increased the pace of addressing the issue.

When asked about the proposal of including Kurnool and Anatapur in Telangana, she said that she is unaware of any such proposal.
