- The Sakala Janula Samme entered 42nd day. The Telangana JAC leaders will meet today to discuss about the future course of the Telangana movement and the Telangana march. The Employees JAC will also meet at the TNGO Bhavan.
- The Telangana activists have called for a bandh in Nagarjuna Sagar protesting the arrests of government employees who are agitating for a separate state of Telangana. Educational institutions and shops are participating in the bandh voluntarily.
- CEO of Namaste Telangana daily Katta Shekar Reddy confirmed that the paper has nothing to do with the Polavaram project tender. Speaking on T-News channel's 'Varthalu - Vastavalu' programme, Shekar Reddy criticized the Telugu Desam Party for sensationalizing a report that was published in the Namaste Telangana newspaper on the Polavaram project.
- With Telangana slowly coming to normalcy, the Centre is planning to hold talks with its UPA allies after the Diwali to take a decision on the statehood of Telangana. Sources say that Congress is planning to hold talks with DMK, Trinamool Congress, National Conference and Nationalist Congress Party.
