Government Employees resume duties

The Government employees in Telangana who called off the 42-day strike has finally resumed their duties on Tuesday. Normalcy in attendance was restored in offices of Head of Department, directorates and district offices. Even in the Secretariat, 92 per cent attendance was reported compared to 85 per cent during the Sakala Janula Samme.
The Secretariat Telangana Employees Association leader Narender Rao said that they won't gherao the Telangana Ministers who have been away from the Secretariat during the Samme. He said that the ministers can discharge their duties from the Secretariat. Association leaders estimate that approximately 50,000 files were pending in about 30 departments due to the Sakala Janula Samme. They said that they would clear the files as fast as possible by putting in extra two hours of effort in the morning and evening.
