Sridhar Babu says MLAs left to TRS for personal gains

Food and Civil Supplies Minister Sridhar Babu has said that MLAs who jumped to other parties have done for their personal benefit. Speaking to reporters in Karimnagar, Sridhar Babu suggested the 3 MLAs who joined the TRS party yesterday to reconsider their decision. He made it clear that the Telangana state would not be formed without the support of the Congress party.

Sridhar Babu condemned the tactics of the TRS party to gain strength by wooing MLAs of other parties. He said that the Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy has a special interest for the development in Telangana region. Speaking about the prestigious Rs. 1 per kilo rice scheme, he said that 2.25 crore families were benefitted by the programme.

Kollapur MLA and former minister Jupally Krishna Rao, Station Ghanpur MLA T Rajaiah and Independent MLA representing Ramagundam constituency Somarapu Satyanarayana joined the TRS party yesterday.
