- The Telangana general strike has entered day 26, while the APSRTC employees bandh entered day 20. The Medical JAC strike entered day 17.
- The Telangana JAC steering committee will meet at 1pm today to discuss on the future course of action.
- The TRS party workers obstructed the private buses of the APSRTC at Kamareddy since last night. The police have tried to convince the activists and prevented any untoward situation.
- Union Minister of State KH Muniyappa has urged the Telangana activists not to go ahead with the Rail Roko on October 12, 13 and 14. The Minister offered prayers at the Narasimha Swamy temple in Anantapur today. He urged to call off the Sakala Janula Samme which is causing a major inconvenience to the general public.
- Lok Satta President Dr. Jayaprakash Narayan urged the Government to take a decision on the Telangana issue as soon as possible and take action to resolve the current crisis in the State.
- The Telangana Congress MPs have met at the residence of Nizamabad MP Madhu Goud Yaskhi.
