The Telangana Joint Action Committee (T-JAC) is planning to obstruct the conduct of the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) examination that was scheduled to be held on Sunday the September 25, 2011.

The TJAC Chairman Prof. M Kodandaram, speaking to the Telangana employees who assembled at the Gagan Vihar Complex has warned the Commission saying that they cannot get excuse with the plea that the Government has not postponed the examinations.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy appeared adamant and has already made it clear that the APPSC examinations will be held as per schedule and will not be cancelled despite representations from many quarters, particularly from the students appearing in the examination themselves.

It may be recalled that the TJAC has been actively obstruction the activities in the Telangana region as a step in its struggle for a separate Telangana state. The TJAC indefinite strike has already entered into the 11th day. Despite this, the State Government nor the Central Government has not done much in order to defeat the strike and are doing their best to have the Government and the administration going on a smooth track to the extent possible.

The strike severely affected power generation and distribution and the mining activity in the Singareni Collieries . The TJAC is planning a 36-hour rail roko and auto rickshaw bundh which is likely to hamper the mass transportation system in the telangana region.
