Nagam Janardhan Reddy launches 'Telangana Nagaara Samithi'

Former TDP legislator Nagam Janardhan Reddy has launched a new Telangana outfit - 'Telangana Nagaara Samithi' in Mahabubnagar. Addressing a huge gathering near the Uma Maheshwaram temple near Achampet, Nagam Janardhan Reddy announced that the sole purpose of the new outfit is to achieve the statehood of Telangana. He released a pamphlet of the aims of the Telangana Nagaara Samithi.

Janardhan Reddy has earlier offered special pujas at the temple in Nallamala forest along with K Harishwar Reddy, S Venugopalachary and Jogu Ramanna. The four have tendered their resignation to the TDP party membership yesterday. During the speech, Janardhan Reddy occasionally attacked Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu and Congress leaders.

Nagam Janardhan Reddy said that Urdu would be given due place in the new Telangana state and said that it was a popular language in Telangana region before its merger with Andhra. He also said that people belonging to Scheduled Tribes would get 12% reservation.
