Hyderabad

The Congress MP's from Telangana have complained to the AICC emissary Vayalar Ravi that the Chief Minister was encouraging groupism in the party. Vayalar Ravi held discussions with Ministers, MPs and legislators from Telangana at the Lakeview guest house. They blamed the Chief Minister and Governor for sending false reports to the Centre on the prevailing situation in Telangana.

Pedapalli MP G Vivek said that the Chief Minister is favoring individuals by releasing funds in some constituencies at his discretion. MPs Ponnam Prabhakar, Gutha Sukhender Reddy and Manda Jagannatham warned that the party would suffer a lot if the Centre doesn't expedite the Telangana statehood issue. They said that the party lost the by-polls recently despite release of large amounts of funds for Telangana, which shows the strong sentiment in the region.
