TRS demands postponement of State Budget

TRS MLA K Taraka Rama Rao demanded the budget to be postponed as the Election Commission has released the schedule for the bye-elections in the State. Speaking to reporters at media point in the assembly premises, KTR said that they will complain to the Election Commission if the budget is presented in the assembly. He said that the government will try to influence the voters.
Former MP of the TRS party Vinod said that the central government has postponed the budget in view of the elections in the five states. He demanded the state government to emulate the same in view of the bye-elections. He also urged the Election Commission to take action on the State Government in the budget is presented in the assembly today.
Meanwhile, the Government is making preparations to present the budget at 12:10 pm today. The cabinet meeting was held in the morning and the budget was sent to the Governor ESL Narasimhan for his approval. Finance Minister Anam Ramanarayana Reddy will present the budget in the legislative assembly and D Sridhar Babu in the legislative council.
