Telangana movement to be intensified in March

Telangana Rashtra Samithi president K Chandrasekhar Rao said that the Telangana movement would be intensified after March. Speaking at a meeting in Mancherial in Adilabad, KCR said that most of the major examinations would be over by March and the Telangana movement wouldn't cause any trouble to students. He admitted over 500 Telugu Desam Party activists into the TRS party fold at the meeting.

KCR demanded the Government to cancel the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET). He also charged the Chief Minister for creating new jobs by removing current contract employees from different sectors in the State. KCR said that over 50,000 jobs could be created in the region once the Telangana state is formed. He also said that more underground coal mines would be created.

He lashed out against N Chandrababu Naidu, saying that the TDP chief was against the dalit community when TDP was in power. He also alleged that the TDP diverted over Rs. 4000 crore of funds which were supposed to be spent for the development of Dalits.

Mancherial MLA G Arvind Reddy, Chennur MLA Nallala Odelu, Sirpur MLA Kaveti Sammaiah and MLC Naradasu Laxman Rao were present at the meeting.
