Former Rajya Sabha member K Keshava Rao has lashed out against the Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy. Speaking to reporters in New Delhi, KK said that Chief Minister is to be blamed for the pary's disastrous performance in the recent by-elections. He opined that the Congress could not win any elections in the future unless the party begins the process of the formation of a separate Telangana state.

The party is ignoring the Telangana movement in the name of development, he said. Keshava Rao said that the Telangana issue is not related to the development of the region, rather it is the self respect of the people. The Congress leaders in the State are sending false reports to the Centre and are cheating the people, he alleged. Keshava Rao also made fun of Kiran Kumar Reddy's remarks saying that elections are different from that of a cricket match. He said that the Kiran Kumar is surrounded by people from Andhra region.
