TRS to emerge as a strong political force says KCR

Addressing a massive crowd for the TRS Telangana Samara Bheri meeting on Sunday, the TRS chief K Chandrasekhar Rao said that it is resolved that the party needs to emerge as a strong political force to achieve the separate Telangana and it is the only solution left to it.

Stating that the TRS with representation of two members in Lok Sabha could disrupt the proceedings of the Lok Sabha for some time and asked the people to imagine if the party had over a dozen of MPs. He said that it would continue to play active role in the Telangana movement under the supervision of Political Joint Action Committee headed by Prof. M Kodandaram.

Targets YSRCP and TDP

Targeting the Telugu Desam Party and the YSR Congress, he said Chandrababu Naidu lacks credibility. Speaking about YSRCP, he said that its honorary president Vijayamma wanted the people to worry about her son rather than the problems of the people. He said that the people had seen enough of Rajanna (YSR) and Chandranna (Chandrababu rule) which plundered resources of Telangana to serve the interests of the Seemandhra people. He wanted the people to be cautious of the evil designs of these parties.

Congress leaders went back of their words

Referring to his recent month long visit to Delhi, he said that the Congress top leaders have invited him for talks on carving of separate Telangana state but went back on their words. He said that the Congress party has been deceiving the people of Telangana for five decades.

24 Districts in Telangana State

Chandrasekhara Rao said that there will 24 districts in Telangana once it became a separate State for administrative convenience. He announced that the pension for old age and widows would be enhanced to Rs. 1 000 pm while it would be Rs. 1500 in case of physically challenged.
