Telangana MPs set December 9 as dead line

November 25, 2012

After a meeting at the residence of Manda Jagannatham, the Congress MPs from Telangana region on Sunday night said that December 9 is a dead line for the party's central leadership to make an announcement on the creation of separate Telangana.

Speaking to media, Jagannatham said that in the event of failure to do so, they would be forced to take a key decision and said that the Congress party would not have any future in the region. He said that the success of TRS meeting on Sunday should be an eye opener for the Congress party. The announcement gained significance at a time when rumors are in the air of the possible joining of the MPs in TRS.
