Hyderabad

The YSR Congress leaders from Telangana region hit back at TRS chief K Chandrasekhar Rao for the remarks he recently made against YSR Congress. The YSRCP leaders charged that the TRS party is under struggle for existence and added that Sharmila's padayatra is evoking tremendous response.

The party leaders Jitta Balakrishna Reddy, Ravindra Naik and Sankineni Venkateswara Rao said that the criticism of Chandrasekhara Rao on YSR came in the fear of losing ground in his home town.

The leaders alleged that KCR after Sakala Janula Samme had compromised the movement for the sake of Polavaram tenders to his close aides. They asked him to reveal the names of those who had invited him to New Delhi and the outcome thereof. They said that KCR is baffled and is on a mission to spread falsehood against the YSRCP as he sees a formidable force in YS Jagan Mohan Reddy in Telangana region.

TDP reacts

Reacting sharply over the comments, the TDP criticized the TRS president K Chandrasekhar Rao for not announcing the action plan to achieve the statehood to the region in the Suryapet meeting. At a press conference, the TDP leaders E Peddi Reddy and Sandra Venkata Veeraiah said that the people of the region expected an action plan at the Suryapet meeting as was announced by him earlier. They charged that he had overtaken the former Chief Minister Chenna Reddy in deceiving the people of Telangana.
