30 FIRs registered on protesters involved in Telangana March

The Hyderabad police have registered nearly 30 FIRs against protesters who took part in the Telangana March. The FIRs are filed in connection with the violence that happened during the Telangana March.

FIR has also been filed against Telangana JAC Chairman Prof. M Kodandaram for instigating violence at the Necklace Road, the venue of the March. Hyderabad City Police Commissioner Anurag Sharma said that nearly 40 groups, organizations and parties that have participated in the rallies and have violated the conditions that led to law and order problems. The police are in the process of identifying more groups which violated the terms under which the March was allowed.

Cases have been booked for unlawful assembly, rioting, arson, and in some case dealing with attempt to murder against some police persons. It is known that IPS Officer Rajasekhar was severely injured while administering his duties in the March. He said that 25 cases have been transferred to the Special Investigation Team from Osmania University, Ramgopalpet and Saifabad police stations.
