TRS demands total ban of controversial film 'Cameraman Ganga tho Rambabu'

The film makers of the controversial film 'Cameraman Ganga Tho Rambabu' have effected 13 changes as recommended by the committee appointed by the Government. They have effected these changes in 170 out of the 230 theaters in Telangana districts and they were on the job to cover all the theatres in the region. According to the AP State Film and TV Development Corporation, the committee members would check whether the film makers have effected the cuts or not.

TRS politburo member D Sravan alleged that it reeked of a conspiracy between the film makers, regional Censor Board and the government. He said that they would intensify the protest, leveraging all the democratic and legal options available, he said. MLA KT Rama Rao reiterated the demand for its ban.

The Banjara Hills police on Sunday registered a case against an anonymous caller for making threatening call to the film director N Shankar. The caller who introduced himself a fan of Pawan Kalyan said to have called up Shankar and threatened to kill him if he continued to criticize the film. The police registered the case following a complaint by Shankar u/s 506 of IPC along with 66 of Information Technology Act.
