KCR meets AICC observer Vayalar Ravi

Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) president K Chandrasekhar Rao met AICC observer for Andhra Pradesh and Union Minister for Overseas Indian Affairs Vayalar Ravi in New Delhi. The one-on-one meeting lasted for more than one hour. It is understood that the separate Telangana issue was the prominent one that came up in the discussion.

Decision by month end

Sircilla MLA K Taraka Rama Rao said that the Central Government will take a favorable decision on the Telangana statehood by the end of this month. On the statement of the Union Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde, he said that he has not heard his statement and said that people of Telangana believes that separate Telangana is the only solution to the problem. If they do not take a decision in tune with the people's wishes, the Government will have to face a revolution, he warned.

Kavita to Delhi

Telangana Jagruti president K Kavitha is leaving to New Delhi on Tuesday at a time when the TRS are saying that a decision on Telangana is possible during the week. Sources said that she will meet a couple of important Congress party functionaries on the separate Telangana issue.

TRS Congress MPs delegation meet Azad

In Hyderabad, a delegation of Congress MPs from Telangana met AICC general secretary Ghulam Nabi Azad and requested him to speed up the issue in the backdrop that the TDP had cleared its stand over the issue and a possible letter on Telangana clarifying its stand. Nizamabad MP Madhu Goud Yaskhi told Azad that any delay in the decision would cause severe loss to the Congress party in Telangana region. On the issue of deadline, in an indirect reference to KCR, he said that the Congress party never set any dead line on Telangana.
