Ministers from Telangana seek appointment with AICC president

The Telangana Rashtra Samithi president K Chandrasekhar Rao who is busy in meeting national level leaders in New Delhi could not get an appointment with the AICC president Sonia Gandhi for submitting a memorandum to her on the bifurcation issue. Claiming that he had strong signals that actions are on for a separate Telangana, his meeting with Union Minister Vayalar Ravi on Tuesday gained prominence.

Telangana march on September 30, 2012

The Telangana Joint Action Committee had announced its resolve to go ahead with the 'Telangana march' on September 30. The TJAC chairman Prof. Kodandaram who released the posters for the march said that it would be on the lines of 'Dandi march'. He said that the people are losing their patience and any delay will not be tolerated by the people of the region.

Telangana Ministers plan to meet Sonia

In an effort to build up pressure on the Congress high command, the ministers from Telangana region sought an appointment with the AICC president Sonia Gandhi to submit a memorandum to her seeking separate Telangana. The ministers said that there is no compromise on the issue of a separate statehood. They said by mere prolonging the issue would definitely tamper the prospects of the Congress Party in Telangana region and sooner or later, a decision in this direction has to be taken.
