TJAC for direct confrontation with political leadership of Seemandhra

The Telangana Joint Action Committee at an emergency meeting on Friday decided to chalk out an action plan against the leadership of Seemandhra creating hurdles on the Telangana Bill. JAC Chairman Prof.M. Kodandaram and others speaking to press said that it was decided to seek an appointment with the President Pranab Mukherjee to explain him of the attest developments in the State that paralyze the functioning of the Assembly. Kodandaram said that a signature campaign would be taken to expedite the process of formation of Telangana State.

Demanding the debate on the Bill be completed at the earliest and sent back to the President, they said that they would not keep quite till then. In the absence of a debate on the Bill, they said that there were at a loss to understand whether the Seemandhra leaders were opposed to the Bill itself or its contents.

Telangana leaders petition against Chief Minister

Elected representatives, Ministers from Telangana region irked over the Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy decided to lodge a complaint to the President Pranab Mukherjee for the delay tactics of the Chief Minister on the Bill. The Deputy Chief Minister C Damodar Rajanarsimha had with the Ministers Danam Nagendra and M Mukesh Goud and APCC vice-president Md.Ali Shabbier at his residence decides that a delegation should meet the President and complain him of the Chief Minister is using all possible means to delay a debate on the Bill.
