Student Unions to float a political party for the cause of Telangana

In the first time in the State of Andhra Pradesh, two student unions viz. Osmania University Joint Action Committee and Telangana Student joint Action Committee that are in the movement for the cause of separate Telangana since 2009 have decided to float a political party for the movement.

The new party the name will be announced on September 17 at Osmania University Arts College will context for 100 MLA and 17 MP constituencies. Krishank Manne, spokesperson for these two JACs said that the TRS that announced to merge with the Congress if the high command concedes Statehood of Telangana but the new party would not just another state for the Congress. He said that the entire agitation was for self-respect and self-rule and our party will represent the youth who have lead the struggle from the front.

Announces candidates for General Elections

The OUJAC and TSJAC announced the list of candidates for the next elections. Manne will contest from Secunderabad cantonment area, Ravi from Warangal district, D Bhaskar form Sirpur-Adilabad district, D Balraj from Nalgonda and K Raju from Mahabubnagar district. They announced the candidates who will contest for the local body polls. The members will begin for campaigning from July 20 and hold interactive sessions.
