Suspended TRS leader to move court against party leadership on corruption charges

Speaking at a press conference on Friday, the suspended Siddipet TRS district president of Medak, Raghunandana Rao, said that he would approach the High Court seeking directions to investigating agencies to probe the alleged corruption charges by the TRS leadership.

He said that he had met some senior police officers along with the evidence he had and also sought an appointment with the Joint Director of CBI and DGP for giving them information he had on the corruption acts of the TRS leadership. He said would move the court after handing over the material to the Central and State police authorities seeking action especially against Siddipet MLA T. Harish Rao. He further said that would move the Election Commission against huge unaccounted amount accepted for donations accepted.

Harish Rao denies allegations

Meanwhile, TRS MLA T Harish Rao denied all the allegations and asked him to handover material evidence, if any against him or party to CBI for a probe and that he was ready to face any kind of probe by any agency. He said that he was also considering legal action against Raghunandana Rao for making baseless allegations.

Meets DGP

Raghunandana Rao said on Saturday that there is a threat on his life. He said that MLA Harish Rao has collected huge amount of money in the land disputes relating to Padmalaya studios. He met the DGP and sought for protection on his life. In light of the allegations made on TRS leaders, he said that he had received threat calls and text messages from unknown persons and information relating to has been handed over to the DGP, he said.
