'Seemandhra Ministers even tried to mislead GoM on Hyderabad', says TRS

TRS leaders K Keshava Rao, G Vivek and KT Rama Rao said on Sunday that the Union Ministers from Seemandhra region of presenting 'all lies' in their representation to the GoM.

TRS demanded publication of white paper on Seemandhra's Rs.50,000 crore investment on the development of Hyderabad and accused that they even tried to mislead Srikrishna Committee report with regard to Hyderabad. KT Rama Rao pointed out that Hyderabad was the fifth largest city in the country at the time of Independence and it continues to hold on the status even now and that had not happened with the investments of Seemandhra leaders for the development of Hyderabad, he said. He added that Visakhapatnam was a small town when Andhra was merged with Telangana and it is billed as the fastest growing city in Asia Now. K Keshava Rao said the fears of Hyderabad being made an undeclared UT were on the rise due to the wavering statements of the Congress leader in New Delhi. He asked the party leaders to mount pressure on the Centre against imposing any restrictions of the status of Hyderabad.
