TRS will follow on lines of Tamil Nadu on reservations to Muslims

Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) chief Chandrasekhar Rao said that TRS party will follow Tamil Naidu in providing 12 per cent reservations to Muslims.

Addressing an election campaign meeting near Girraj Government College in Nizamabad on Tuesday night, he said that the Constitution approves only fifty per cent reservations but the Tamil Nadu government extended it to seventy per cent with the provisions of legislature. He clarified that there is no place for communal forces in the newly formed Telangana State and sought people?s support for reconstruction of the State. Saying that the 3.5 crore people are the high command of the TRS party, he said that it will honour the aspirations of the people.

He said that all the 17 MP seats should be won by TRS that will give a good demanding power for a fair share for the new State. He said that there would be no contract employee in Telangana State and committee would be constituted to study and prepare job charge for regularizing the entire contract force. KCR said that the government would give a special increment to the employees and transfers will be enforced once in three years.
