Narendra Modi's public meeting in Telangana

BJP prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi addressed public meeting in Telangana today. This is the first time Modi is addressing people in Telangana after the new state has been granted. Modi is scheduled to speak at fur public meetings today.

Pawan Kalyan's speech at Vijaya Rally

Jana Sena founder and Tollywood actor Pawan Kalyan addressed the Vijay Rally organised by BJP-TDP in Nizamabad on Tuesday. Addressing the huge gathering, Pawan Kalyan referred to the struggle in formation of Telangana State and the importance of development of the region now.

He said that Telangana State was formed only by the sacrifices of a number of people for the Telangana cause. He questioned how TRS would support the Third front which had objected to the formation of Telangana State. He said that he is prepared to face any number of challenges for the good of the Country. Pawan Kalyan said that Congress has insulted the former Prime Minister PV Narasimha Rao who made reforms in the Country. He said that he is prepared to question where it requires.

BJP prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi addressing the gathering said that the coming elections are no ordinary elections for Telangana. The polling on April 30 is more important than ever for the people of Telangana. Modi said that nobody has given Telangana State but it had been created only by the sacrifices of thousands of people from the region. He said that the Government at the Centre should take care of Telangana like a mother taking care of her child.

Criticizing the Congress party and UPA government, Modi said that if we give power to Congress again, the state of Telangana will go back to 20 years. He appealed to the people to vote to BJP candidate Yendala Lakshminarayana and to help BJP come to power at the Centre. Congress will concentrate only on real-estate problems but not of common people.

Arrogance of Congress party

Modi asked the people to remember the arrogance of the Congress party. He questioned whether it is right to vote for the Congress government that is responsible for the death of number of people in Telangana. He appealed the people to vote to that government which address their problems. The family of Indira Gandhi family has insulted the people in a number of votes. He also blamed Prime Minister Manmohan Singh for the death of people of Telangana who sacrificed their lives for the Telangana cause. He reminded that former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi had insulted former Chief Minister T. Anjaiah who is a dalit in Hyderabad. The Congress had no intention of granting Telangana state, but had to agree for separate statehood only due to unavoidable circumstances.
