MIM leader Akbaruddin announces 'Marriage funds for poor girls'

The Majlis party has come up with a proposal to facilitate marriage of 100 poor and destitute girls every year. The scheme is proposed by the MIM party as part of its manifesto. The party plans to create a fund of Rs 5 crore for the purpose and the amount will be deposited in a bank. Income from interest accruing from it will be used for the purpose of marriages.

Majlis leader Akbaruddin Owaisi announced this package. According to him, the Majlis plans to give a final shape to the proposal and implement it soon after the elections. The Owaisi brothers are extending help for marriage of poor girls in their individual capacity.
