TRS president Chandrasekhar Rao releases party manifesto

Telangana Rashtra Samithi president K Chandrasekhar Rao on Friday released its manifesto for the 2014 Assembly and Lok Sabha elections.

Speaking on the occasion, he said that welfare of the poor people is the party's highest priority. Rs 1,000 crore have to be earmarked for the welfare of Muslims and minorities in Telangana. He said that they would give 12 per cent reservations to Muslims if voted to power.

TRS president said that their government would give increments to employees on the eve of formation of Telangana State. He proposed to give salaries to the State Government employees on par with Central Government employees. TRS will be announcing the names of contesting candidates for 50 Assembly and 17 Lok Sabha seats, said K Chandrasekhar Rao.
