Murali Mohan welcomes the decision of establishing Film City
NEW DELHI: Actor and TDP MP Murali Mohan welcomed the decision of Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao for establishing a Film City in 2000 acres of land. It may be recalled that the Chief Minister has suggested for establishing a film studios with graphic effects .

Two Innovas for each Police Station
HYDERABAD: DGP Anurag Sharma speaking to media on Friday said that two innovas will be allotted to each of the police station. These will be coordinated with the control room. New Police uniform with new design will be ready by August 15. Where the innovas will not tour, two wheelers will be provided, said Anurag Sharma.

2,000 solar pump sets will be given
NEW DELHI: The Union Government has allotted 2,000 solar pump sets to Andhra Pradesh and Telangana States. AP will get 58 per cent while the rest to Telangna State. These will be made available by next June.

RTC Staff strike deferred
HYDERABAD: Following a request by the RTC management for 15 days’ time for sorting out the issue, the Employees Union has deferred the strike plan. It may be recalled that they have given strike notice from August 2 for release of dues to them by the management.

MLC Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy sees conspiracy in Chandrababu move on fee reimbursement
HYDERABAD: MLC Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy expressed his own doubts on the move of AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu of contributing 58 per cent of share in fee reimbursement. He said that more than 60 per cent of students in Telangna belongs to Andhra Pradesh. Students studying in Hyderabad and Ranga Reddy, the AP Government has to bear 58 per cent of their fees.

SCPCR seeks data on kids in Telangana
The State Commission for Protection of Child Rights has directed all the District Collectors of Telangana to furnish all information related to child rights, namely, total number of children, schools, hostels, vacancies in hostels, dropout children, village-level child protection committees existing, child marriages happened in the last two years etc., to the Commission before August 28.

Three member committee formed for selection of TSERC
HYDERABD: Telangana Government has issued a GO for selection of Chairman and members of the Telangana State Electricity Regulatory Commission (TSERC).The committee will be headed by Justice P. Swaroop Reddy, retired Judge of AP High Court and Chief Secretary of Telangana State Rajiv Sharma and Chairperson of the Central Electricity Authority (CEA) Neerja Mathur will be its members. The Principal Secretary (Energy) will be convenor of the selection committee. Energy Department said applications have been invited from suitable candidates for Chairman and members posts of TSERC and the details were made available on the department website. August 18 is the last date for submitting applications.

President Pranab Mukherjee will attend annual convocation of NALSAR
HYDERABAD: The President of India Pranab Mukherjee will attend the 12th Annual Convocation of NALSAR university of Law on August 2. He will confer degrees on the graduating students. Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan, Chief Minister of Telangana K. Chandrasekhar Rao and Chief Justice of High Court of Judicature at Hyderabad, Kalyan Jyoti Sengupta, and Chancellor of the university will attend.
