Former Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao resigns TDP

Telangana State Government has hiked the fee for MBBS seats under the management quota in non-minority and minority private medical colleges.

Orders have been issued to this effect on Monday. The State Government however retained the old fee structure for seats under the convenor quota.

The orders said that the fee for 25 per cent of seats under C1 category of management quota in Non-minority College has been i9ncreased to Rs.9 lakhs from the existing Rs.5.5 lakh and fee for the 15 per cent C2 category (NRI quota) the fee has been hiked to Rs.11 lakhs from the existing Rs.5.5 lakhs.

For minority colleges, the fee has been hiked to Rs.9 lakh from the existing Rs.6 lakh for 25 per cent of B1 category and 15 per cent B2 category it has been enhanced to Rs.12 lakhs from Rs.6 lakh.
