Intensive Household Survey on August 19

The Chief Minster K Chandrasekhara Rao made it clear that those who fail to participate in the August 19 Intensive Household Survey across the State will not feature in the government list which will form the basis for every welfare scheme and developmental work of the government.

Addressing a review meeting with the officials of various departments, KCR said that he added that correct data was required for effective implementation of the schemes and lack of such date had resulted in several irregularities in government schemes till date.

One lakh GHMC enumerators to visit:
One lakh enumerators will visit each household on August 17 and 18. The exercise is being taken up to study the socio-economic condition of four crore people in the State including the one crore in Greater Hyderabad Municipal corporation and weed out fake beneficiaries of government schemes.

On August 17, enumerators will go door to door and inform house owners and their family members to keep documents ready to avoid any problems during the survey and on the next day, they will verify documents and inform house owners of any shortcomings. GHMC will utilize the services of government employees, teachers and other staff for the exercise.
