Hyderabad

A Division Bench of the AP High Court comprising of Chief Justice Kalyan Jyothi Sengupta and Justice PV Sanjay Kumar on Monday asked two senior counsels D Prakash Reddy and SR Ashok to assist the court in the alleged deficiencies of the AP State Reorganization Bill 2013.

The Bench heard GV Rao's contention who said that the Bill was incomplete as it had no mention of financial statement, objects and reasons. He sought a declaration that the Bill cannot be construed as Bill which is in violation of the provision of Article 3.

Requiring some inputs regarding the maintainability of the writ, it wanted these two senior advocates to pursue the papers and submit the arguments on next Monday.
