Displaced Girijans will be provided improved living conditions’, says MP Sujana Choudary

Telugu Desam Party MP Sujana Choudary speaking media on Monday said that the displaced Girijans on account of Polavaram project will be provided with improved living conditions.

Expressing happiness over the passage of AP State Reorganization Bill (Amendment) Bill in Rajya Sabha, he said that Polavaram project will be completed even before the next general elections. He said that the amendment bill has come up only with the negligence of Congress government. With the project both Telangana State and Andhra Pradesh will get benefitted. He ruled out the possibility of cropping of naxal issue following merger of seven mandals in Andhra Pradesh. He thanked all those parties who extended their support for passage of the Bill in Rajya Sabha.

‘It an attack on Adivasis’, says Prof.Kodandaram
Telangana JAC Chairman Prof.Kodandaram termed the passage of Bill as an attack on Adivasis. In a dharna staged at the statue of Dr.BR Ambedkar at Jantar Mantar in which CPI, CPI (ML), Polavram Porata Committee, Girijan Associations participated. The TJAC Chairman alleged that the Bill was brought to please some corporate people and said that the matter will be dragged to the court.
