GHMC demolishes 17 illegal constructions
HYDERABAD: GHMC Commissioner Somesh Kumar on Wednesday said that the GHMC officials have demolished 17 illegal constructions and action would be initiated on the officials who help for the constructions.

HYDERABAD: The State government on Wednesday appointed special government pleaders, Government pleaders. A government order has been issued appointing four Special Government Pleaders and 5 Government Pleaders. B Mahender Reddy, S Sarat Kumar, A Sanjeev Kumar, BS Prasad were appointed as special government pleaders and P Pankaj Reddy, R Rajesh Nehata, A Najeb khan, G Arun Kumar and C Venkat Yadav were appointed as government pleaders.

‘Create special council for Adivasis’, demands Janashakti
VEMULAVADA: Jana Shakti top leader Kura Rajanna who was here in connection with a case attended the court said that the Central Government has created Telangana State but amputated with its hands and legs. He demanded immediate formation of a Special Council for Adivasis under 5th Schedule. He dismissed the contention of injustice to Andhra Pradesh if Polavaram project is not taken up. ‘Nobody is opposing the project but on the suggestions of the Engineers, a barrage is sufficient in place of project’, he said.

KCR is responsible for loss of an inch land of Telangana’, says Jeevan Reddy
HYDERABAD: Congress MLA T Jeevan Reddy said Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao is held responsible for any loss of land even an inch of Telangana State given by Congress. He alleged that KCR bitterly failed in safeguarding the submergible mandals and said that it is not possible to construct the Polavaram project by violating the girijan rights. He alleged that the TRS did not show any interest in obstructing the amendment bill.

‘Threat for Rama Temple if goes with the present design’, says former Minister DK Aruna.
HYDERABD: Constructing of Polavaram project with the present design will pose a threat to the famous Rama temple. She said that constructing the project is not possible by violating the rights of girijans. She said that they would wage a war by getting cooperation from Chhattisgarh and Odisha states. Aruna said that they will seek legal recourse in the issue.
