Police arrests 12 card players and seized Rs.1.87 lakhs
HYDERABAD: Panjagutta Task Force police has arrested 15 player card players from a room at Park Hotel and seized Rs.1.87 lakhs along with 15 cell phones. Sources said that all the arrested are business executives from Begam Bazzar and Tank Bund.

Case booked against two corporators
HYDERABAD: The Sultan Bazar Police have registered a case against two GHMC Corporators on Sunday for threatening a realtor from Koti. According to police Nikesh said that the Sultan Bazaar Corporator MP Ramachander Raju and Gunfoundry Corporator Madhu Goud threatened him when he went to them to resolve a property dispute.

BJP national president to visit Hyderabad
HYDERABAD: BJP national president Amit Shah will make a two-day visit to the city in the second week of August. He will hold meeting with members of the party’s Telangana unit. He will also interact with the BJP village-level presidents. “We will get a direction on how to improve the party from grassroots level in the new State,” said party president G. Kishan Reddy.
